This provider offers personalized and fully outfitted fly fishing excursions into the Alaska Range. Trip opportunities include half day, full day and multi day trips using lightweight fly gear pursuing Arctic Grayling and Rainbow Trout. All trips are on foot on small mountain streams offering a true wilderness experience within sight of Denali.

Beginners are welcome and will get a full fly casting lesson as well as an introduction to the basics of fly selection, catch and release techniques and reading water.

Three scheduled departures daily include round trip transportation from area hotels and campgrounds to our office on the Nenana River.

Custom Trips:

Special arrangements can be made for private groups, large and small as well as multi-day trips with multiple destinations. Please call us in advance to make your reservation so we can design a once in a lifetime trip for you.

Licenses:

An Alaska fishing license is required and can be purchased at our office or in advance here.

They supply:

Light weight fly gear, flies, boots or waders, and rain gear.

You should bring:

Rain gear if you prefer your own. Layers like sweaters, extra socks, a hat with a brim or a hat that will cover your ears depending on the season or weather at the time of your visit. Sunglasses, we recommend polarized, they prove helpful even on many cloudy days.

A word about Mosquitoes:

These critters not only feed our fish, but can feed on us as well. Bugs can be annoying at times, so they recommend that you bring a favorite repellant along for your trip. We will have plenty on hand to use and encourage its liberal application.

Suitability:

Clients of all ages 12 and over are welcome whether they are experienced fly fisherman looking to check arctic grayling off their list of species or beginners looking to step off the road system for a few hours and learn the art of fly fishing in some of the most beautiful mountain terrain in the state.

You must be able to walk up to a half-mile over uneven terrain and wade in shallow streams as a part of all our trips.

All fishing on our trips is catch and release and barb-less hooks will be used.
